bak, vur, affet, gel, bas, at, öp, dinle

TRANSLATION

Kuzu Kuzu
Like a Lamb

Bak, kırıldı kolum kanadım
Look, I fell apart | lit. Look, my arms and wings are broken
Olmadı, tutunamadım
Didn’t work, I lost my grip
Zor, yokluğun çok zor
Hard, your absence is hard
Alışamadım
Couldn’t get used to it

Vur, vur bu akılsız başı
Hit, hit this mindless head
Duvarlara, taşlara vur sevabına
Hit against the walls and stones as a good deed
Sonra affet, gel bas bağrına
Then forgive, come, hold me to your bosom
Süzüldüm, eridim, sensiz olamadım
I got weak and wasted away, couldn’t be without you

İşte kuzu kuzu geldim
Here I’ve returned like a lamb
Dilediğince kapandım dizlerine
I fell at your feet (lit. knees) the way you wished
Bu kez gururumu ateşe verdim
This time I set my pride on fire
Yaktım da geldim
Burnt it and came (back to you)
İster at, ister öp beni
Kick me away or kiss me
Ama önce dinle, bak gözlerime
But first listen and look into my eyes
İnan, bu defa anladım durumu, tövbeler ettim
Believe me, this time I saw it all (lit. understood the situation) and repented
